Born in Derby in 1972, Skegness-based Gary Starr has spent the last few years creating his own theatre space, which has been built piece by piece literally by his and a few friend's own hands. The Neverland Theatre in Skegness is a 78-seat intimate venue that hosts various shows and plays, including Gary’s own productions, which was his primary reason for creating this unique space.
Gary is a proud member of the Grand Order of Water Rats.
Dracula took many years to create, and inspiration was found in many places; some were written in Whitby Abbey, and the second half only came to him a week before opening. There was a total of five complete re-writes but the end result is a unique piece of theatre.
